Provincetown Bay
Tucked within the nook of Long Point
is Provincetown Harbor and Bay
where the Pilgrim's took refuge in the 1620s.
The Bay with its 11 feet tides is a great place to swim at high tide
and to walk the dog at low tide.
The Bay is across the street from The Commons
From the beach
one can watch the activity of the fishing fleet,
tall ships or the day trippers.
And if lucky, quietly watch a sleeping, sunning seal pup.
The sunrises and sunsets
wash the sky with the special mystical hues of this tip of the world.
